WHY KAISER?

80 years of engineering. One clear focus. Minimal project risk.

For more than 80 years, KAISER has been active in mechanical and plant engineering.
For 74 years, our work has been dedicated to one highly specialized field: the controlled pastillation and solidification of melts for the chemical and cosmetics industries. In 1951, KAISER developed and patented the first industrial pastillation process. Shortly thereafter, we became the first company worldwide to use steel and stainless steel belts for melt solidification — a technological milestone that continues to form the foundation of many industrial processes today.

Process know-how instead of product breadth

Over the decades, KAISER has developed a broad portfolio of proprietary solutions, including:

  • four different pastillation processes,
  • systems for flakes and strip granulation,
  • specialized feeding and discharge systems for brittle, sticky, sensitive, toxic or high-temperature products.

Our competence does not end at the solidification section. KAISER supplies complete plants from a single source, including:

  • upstream equipment such as reactors, tanks, filters and pumps,
  • downstream systems such as bagging and filling units,
  • all required utilities and peripheral equipment,
  • as well as installation, field piping, and electrical works — worldwide, including remote locations.

This holistic responsibility significantly reduces interface risks and ensures a smooth transition from process design to reliable operation.

A unique knowledge base built over decades

Over more than 70 years, KAISER has built up a unique and extensive knowledge base of process data and application experience.

This ensures that customer-specific requirements, product characteristics and operational constraints are translated efficiently into robust technical solutions.

Why KAISER first?

Because critical decisions in melt solidification are made long before the first machine is built.

  • 80 years of deep, application-specific process understanding
  • Proven proprietary technologies for demanding and sensitive products
  • Complete responsibility from upstream to downstream equipment
  • Early risk minimization through process-driven engineering
  • Long-term partnership instead of pure machine delivery

When it comes to the solidification of melts, the most important decisions are made at the very beginning of a project.
This is where KAISER creates the greatest value.
